Hello everyone how
are you doing? This time I would like to show you World Showcase.
World
Showcase is in EPCOT and there are 11 different nations. For example: Canada, UK,
France, Morocco, Japan, USA, Italy, Germany, China, Norway and Mexico. You can
enjoy and look around attractions, restaurants and live entertainments. One of
the unique and coolest points in World Showcase is hosted by each of the
nation’s cast members therefore you can ask them questions about that land!
They can’t wait share with you! I would like to introduce you each
countries area.
Canada area, there
is Hotel du Canada. It is centerpiece building in that area and this building
built based on Canada’s old hotel Chateau Laurier in Ottawa. There is
restaurant called
O Canada, it is most expensive restaurant in the World
Showcase.
UK area, there are
a lot of The Beatles goods in side shops. There is no attraction in this area
but you can enjoy entertainment and dining. Rose and Crown Dining Room which is
traditional pub, people can eat Fish & Chips and variety of beers.
France area, this
is my brother’s favorite area! There is fountain at entrance. You can relax,
looking around buildings and chatting. And L'Artisan des Glaces which is ice
cream shop and you can get delicious ice cream (Of course, it is French ice
cream!)
Morocco area, there
is Koutoubia Minaret of Marrakesh
which building is 12th century’s prayer tower (mosque). Also you can
have Mediterranean dine. By the way, when I met Morocco area’s cast, he could
speak Japanese so I was very surprised!
Japan area, when
you enter this area, you can see Horyuji Temple first because it is centerpiece
building in Japan area. There is Mitshukoshi Department
Store where you can get Japanese goods, snacks, drink and even bath and facial
products too! We dined at Tokyo Dining restaurant and we ate Japanese foods
like tempra and sushi!
USA area, you can
see many USA flag around the area. There is attraction called The American
Adventure that is show and you can learn American history and previous USA
presidents too!
Italy area, there
is St. Mark's Square in Italian it
called Piazza San
Marco. It is replica of the original campanile in Venice. You can enjoy authentic
Italian foods like pasta and pizza!
Germany area,
there are 2 unique shops (In my opinion!). First is Karamelle-Kuche which is
sweets shops like caramel popcorn, caramel apple, strawberries marshmallow. When
you enter this shop, you can smell very sweet caramel! I’ll get hungry! Second
is Der Teddy bar where you can get cute toys! People sell some snacks and drink
like pretzel and beer on the street too!
China area,
Norway area, there
used to be attraction Maelstorm which is a boat ride but it will change to
Frozen’s attraction because Frozen is based on Norway’s story. I’m little bit
sad old attraction closed but if you like Frozen, you should go to that!
Mexico area, you can notice pre-Columbian pyramid in the first
entrance gate. As you walk through to inside, you can see Plaza de Los Amigos
which is pretty dark in side, but you can find some precious interiors.
